Personal Investigation (2025/26)
Personal Investigation was an A Level Art Graphics unit where I chose to explore vector art. I was inspired by the works of Bo Lundberg and Coen Pohl and their use of flat but effective colouring and single images to portray culture. This lead me to develop a theme using Airbnb with a final piece being promotional artwork focused on city breaks in the UK. I began by developing the drawings in Procreate, which allowed me to enjoy an expressive hand-drawn approach before using Illustrator to refine and create vector-based artwork. I consciously chose this style to force myself to learn new tools and techniques, The resulting clean line work enhanced my final composition.
