BTEC Dance (2024 – 2026)
Whilst studying BTEC Dance I have explored creativity and the use of space through a variety of starting points and stimuli. I have developed a better understanding of shape and movement and how these can be used to communicate with the audience. Open discussions around colour, form, costume and lighting have helped deepen my understanding of how these elements can change the mood and the impact of a performance. We regularly consider how to move a performance from rehearsal to the performance space, with consideration of the costume, spacing and lighting and their effect on the audience.
